Side note: I think it's getting easier to install Arch? Or maybe my hardware situation isn't as complicated. Or I'm just getting better at figuring out these issues. But I didn't really have any issues installing Arch this go around. I tried out KDE and honestly I didn't use to like it but it isn't that bad anymore.
Still sticking with Mint + xfce. It's got the Ubuntu simplicity with the low overhead of xfce I've gotten used to. Tried other DEs, but xfce is just simple yet complete (other lightweight DEs can end up messing up simple features). I might be willing to try Arch again if it's installation is easier. I don't really care to go through hoops to install an OS. I want it simple! I'm not an FN linux admin!
