Comparing SPSS 'stepwise' with 'enter'

Hi! Novice here so please bear. I wanted to know how SPSS generates probability of 'f' in step-wise regression for inclusion / exclusion as it does not match that generated by 'enter' method. E.g. say I have 4 independent variables, and i run 4 regressions by inputting them one by one ('enter' method), their probability of 'f' does not match with that thrown in by the stepwise method in, say, step 1 (i assumed that is what stepwise also does).

Also, if i recreate the stepwise suggested model exactly by using 'enter' method, the coefficients and r-square are slightly different. I thought they would be exactly the same. Many thanks in advance!
