if CI of the odds ratio i got was so wide
does it have any meaning?

and does it make a difference if it contain 1
e.g (0.08- 12)

so my question is about interpretation of my odds ratio or even any statistis , will it be differnt if the CI is wide or contain one.

I think a wide CI means your result is not that accurate/reliable. For example because you used a small sample size. The more narrow your CI, the more your result from your sample will correspond to the true result (complete population).

I think if it contain 1; than it's not significant
