Google Home

Does anybody else have a google home? My wife got me a home mini for Christmas. I've mainly just been using it to get a morning update, play music, and set timers (it's basically my Pomodoro timer). Was wondering if anybody else has one and does anything more interesting with it.

I got one for Christmas. I am using it for pretty much the same stuff. I ask it about the day's weather. If you have Chromecast, you can tell it to start casting a show from Netflix or YouTube.

Yeah we use Chromecast. But my home is in my office so it doesn't make much sense to control the casting from there. I might pick up another one to have in the living room. But to be honest it doesn't have support for controlling Plex yet so it's not really worth it at the moment.
