Dear friends,

I have a silly question but I am really confused at this point. So I would appreciate your response. If a Z score +/- 3 is considered an outlier, would a value such as -.328 or 4.34 be considered an outlier?

Less is more. Stay pure. Stay poor.
The +/- value represent how many standard deviations the value is from the mean, 4 is a lot, < then 2 is to be expected for about 95% of observations, so not considered an outlier - traditionally.
