How to calculate log mean standard deviation of two numbers?

I have a journal paper which says they calculated coefficient of variations based on log mean average (LMA) values. Now, I know that log mean average is (x2-x1)/[ln(x2/x1)] and CV = Stdev/Average... So how to find this log mean Stdev??

Using the standard deviation as =sqrt(0.5*((x2-LMA)^2-(x1-LMA)^2)) does not give the me the values they show.

Just to give you an example:
According to that paper, the CV of 5.8798 and 1.2577 is 0.8223...!! But how??
