Kind of embarrasing

Question A study discovered that that income of students is normally distributed, with an average annual income of $17,500, and a standard deviation of $3,000. If the poverty line is considered to be $15,000 how many students will be living in poverty.

Ok so i gathered that z= (x-mu) /s

so z = (15000-17500)/ 3000

= -.83

from z table = .297

So 30 % of population living in poverty???
