Monte Carlo simulation for interviewing data?

Hello everyone,

I have interviewing data that includes interviewers' ratings of applicants and job performance ratings. I would like to test how changing the interviewers' ratings (e.g., giving some a leniency affect by bumping their scores up by 1/2 SD) would affect the validity of the ratings (i.e., the ability to predict job performance). My professor suggested using a Monte Carlo simulation, which I have not used before. From what I have since read in trying to learn more about it, I am not sure if/how I should use it in this situation. Any suggestions?
