P-Values equal to zero

#1
Hi, I am running simple OLS regressions on forward and spot price data and have been getting p-values equal to exactly 0 (i.e. not 0.0000000234) for either an x variable and or the intercept.

I am not sure how to interpret these and if the interpretation is different between the x variable and the intercept.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

You can't obtain a p value of exactly zero when using the distributions typically used in conventional statistical tests (student's t, F, normal, etc.), because these distributions have unbounded support. You can obtain a p value that is zero to some arbitrary number of decimal places though. Typically you would report a very low p value as something like <0.001.
