Hello and thanks for reading. I'm conducting psychological research and am measuring a range of variables at four measurement points (pre-intervention, post-intervention, 1 month follow up, 3 months follow up). I am wanting to ascertain whether the intervention resulted in significant changes in these variables and whether these changes were maintained over time.
I was thinking that I would compare the pre-intervention measurement to each of the following measurements (e.g., compare pre-intervention to post-intervention, compare pre-intervention to 1 month follow up, and so on). Would this be abnormal or frowned upon? Just wondering what is customary in this area.
Thanks,
laf
