SPSS Analysis help

#1
Hi! I am working on an analysis in SPSS and want to verify that I am choosing the correct method. I have a dataset of pre and post test results from one variable (DV) and need to analyze the differences on the DV by 3 different groups - 2 treatment groups and 1 control group and then by gender. From what I have found, I can use the Repeated measures ANOVA but I would like to verify this is the correct approach. Can someone advise please??? Thank you!

Cheers

It depends on the measurement level of the dependent variable (DV) and possibly on sample size.
If the DV is interval scaled, then a mixed ANOVA (repeteated-measure ANOVA with additional
between-subject factor(s) ) should be appropriate.

With kind regards

Thanks so much!! The DV is interval and it is a pretty large sample size. I appreciate your help!
