hi, i have 3 qualitative latent variables, each of these variables is composed of 4 sub variables
two of the latent variables are independent
one is dependent
i want to test the impact of the IV on the DV
and to test the link between both two IVs
and whether this link has an impact on the DV
data is collected with likert scale, and sample is equal to 50 individuals

Could you perhaps Elaborate a Little bit more?

What is the topic of your study and what are these variables, what did
you actually measure with them? And what do you mean by sub variables?

What do you mean by "whether this link [between the IVs] has an impact
on the DV"?

And how large is your sample size?

With kind regards

K.

thank you for replying , these are the informations you need
sample size: 60 individuals

List of variables:
Moderating variables:
Age
Gender
Level of education
Independent variables:
Emotional Intelligence (EI):
• Recognition of personal emotions (RE1): (Measured by 3 likert scale items)
• Recognition of emotions of others (RE2): (Measured by 3 likert scale items)
• Regulation of personal emotions (RE3): (Measured by 3 likert scale items)
• Regulating emotions of others (RE4): (Measured by 3 likert scale items)

Rational intelligence (RI):
• Understanding (IR1): (Measured by 3 likert scale items)
• Reasoning (IR2): (Measured by 3 likert scale items)
• Knowledge (IR3): (Measured by 3 likert scale items)
• Adaptation (IR4): (Measured by 3 likert scale items)

Dependent variables:
Organizational Behavior (OB):
• engagement (CO1): (Measured by 3 likert scale items)
• commitment(CO2): (Measured by 3 likert scale items)
• involvement (CO3): (Measured by 3 likert scale items)

List of hypotheses:
H1: Emotional Intelligence (EI) positively and significantly influences the Organizational Behavior (OB).
H2: Rational Intelligence (RI) positively and significantly influences the Organizational Behavior (OB).
H3: There is a link between Emotional Intelligence (EI) and rational intelligence (IR)
H4: which positively and significantly affects the Organizational Behavior (OB).

I must admit that the combination of H3 and H4 doesn't make sense to me.
Whether a "link" (association?) between EI and RI exists, can simply be
examined using a correlation coefficient.

But how should this link/association actually affect behaviour? You cannot
show for single subjects how strong this "link" is within each of them, therefore
you have not variance which could be associated with variance in the dependent variable.

Or, do you mean an interaction effect of EI and RI on behaviour?
But for an interaction, the independent variables need not be associated
(or linked).

by H3 i mean that there exists a correlation between at least one component of EI and one component of RI , hence , i have to find this correlation
for H4, i need to test the impact of the correlation found ( which will create a new variable combining both correlated variables ) on the OB.
the modele is drawn as follows

Your model would make sense if the association between
RI and EI was different between subjects. I don't know of any
method which would be able to determine this in a cross-sectional
design. What you have, is the strength of the association on the
group level, hence there is no variation between subjects.
Without variation between subjects, associations with behavior
cannot be determined.
