Statistics for small sample sizes

I'm wondering if anyone can help. I have experimental data for a number of groups, but the sample size within each group is only around 5. I am limited in this sense and so cannot increase this sample size. I am wondering if anyone knows of any statistical tests to show if there is a statistically significant difference between these groups?

If you are comparing the two groups (not within subject), I would say you can use a Mann-Whitney U test. It is like an ANOVA, but does not require a normal distrubution and you can have fewer participants in the groups.
