Hi Talkstats!
This is my first post. I have a data set with 10,000 final banks that I produced from a simulation. I want to work out the distribution of the data to see whether I can apply some statistical tests to the data. It clearly isn't the normal distribution(!) but when I looked at this link (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_probability_distributions) there appears to be several distributions my data could fit. I guess I have two questions:
1) what distribution is this data?
2) can I transform the data in any way so I can do some statistical tests on it?
I did an undergraduate unit in statistics so have a decent but basic understanding of statistics. I've attached the data below.
Thanks in advance!
Rob
