i ran a normality test and both variables were >0.05 so normal.
but when i run a linear correlation so i can generate a predictive equation one of the unstandarised co-effciens (B) shows the number 2.104E-5..............what's the E-5?? in class this never happened and I'm on break now so can't ask the tutor help!

Note that a p-value of >.05 for a normality test doesn't mean that the data is normal - just that you don't have evidence that it's not normal.

E-5 is just scientific notation. 2.104E-5 = .00002104
