Hello, I had to miss my last class in stats and I don't know how to solve this question.

1. For each of the following combinations of values, decide whether the combination is possible or impossible, and if it's impossible, explain why.

a. b = .80, sy.x = 0, r = 1.00
b. b = .80, sy.x = 0, r = .65
c. b = -.80, a = 10, r = .70

NOTE: In sy.x the y.x is a subscript.

Please explain guys, I want to understand what these variables are, what they mean, and how they relate to the question. Thanks!

Some things to think about:

1. What is the relationship between r and sy.x
2. What is the relationship between the sign of b and the sign of r
