Can anyone explain the difference between a 1-way and 2-way Repeated ANOVA?
I have ran both analysis on some data from a longitudinal study to find out first:
1. Change over time (1-way)
2. Difference between User Types (2-way: Users*Time)
I have found that there there are some results difference on Time between the 1-way and 2-way.
I would like to explain why this may have happened. I expect it is due to the 1-way using the aggregated data to produce a result (over time) and the 2-way splits the data into the user groups - which then influences the time result. Is this correct?
