Difference btween t-test and F-test (Fisher)

#1
Hello everybody,
I am a little bit lost concerning the difference between t-test and F-test.
After my researches, I conclude that F-test is useful when we want to know if none independent variables explain the response variable (Ho), or Ha: at least one variable explains Y. What concerns T-test, I understand that it is useful for comparing two different populations as well as F-test...

I hope I am clear with my question, sorry if it is not.
Can someone please explain me what differ between these two tests.
Thank you in advance.

The F-test from a oneway analysis of variance with k=2 groups and
the independent samples t-test have exactely the same result (t²=F).
I hope I am clear with my question, sorry if it is not
Maybe you should explain which problem you want to solve by
asking this question.

With kind regards
