I'm trying to do the MDS config. for ACS scale (20 items). I used ordinal model (Proxscal-spss) with primary approach (untied tied observations). First analysis yielded 3 dimensions as expected.
3 dimensions:
Normalized raw-stress = 0,012
Stress-I = 0,11
Stress-II = 0,31
I'm not sure about the value od Stress-I indicator. I've read that in cases when you have high ratio of n - objects (20) to m - dimensionality (3) higher values of Stress-I are acceptable, but no further information was given.
Can anybody provide any hint if the value of Stress-I = 0,11 is acceptable for n(20) m(3) configuration?
