The following data represent the weights in pounds of a sample of 25 workers:

164, 148, 137, 157, 173, 156, 177, 172, 169, 165, 145, 168, 163, 162, 174, 152, 156, 168, 154, 151, 174, 146, 134, 140, and 171.

· Find the median weight
· Find the mean weight
· Find the modal weight
· Compute the range
· Determine the value of the lower quartile of the weights
· Determine the value of the second quartile of the weights
· Determine the value of the upper quartile of the weights
· Determine the interquartile range
· Construct a box plot for the weights

The median is the middle score.
The mean is calculated by adding all the scores and dividing by number of scores.
The mode is the most commonly occuring score.
The range is the highest score minus the lowest score.
First quartile cuts off at the lowest 25%.
Second quartile 50%
Third quartlie 75%
Inter quartile range is the difference between third and first.
